Been a while and has it been a time ever.

Stephen has mono. That is why we all kept getting Strep Throat. He would never get rid of it and pass it all around. Not his fault and I still love him.
We are thinking about houses. Kinda scary with all the uncertanty out there. Orem would be nice to live in being close to family and friends. Orem is so walkable that we would only need one car.
Scott is potty trained so well by now.
Kyle is crying himself back to sleep this week. (That means we are all tired.)
Stephen got himself his dream computer this week. He is still working out the bugs and it bugs me that he is still working on it. :)
I fixes all the bikes this week. Well I had some help from the bike shop but I did 90% of the work. My goal is to do more riding this winter. I got some cold weather gear and the boys will stay warm in the trailer. I see people all the time riding in the winter. Look for me, I will be out there.

First Business trip and a wedding.

Stephen had his first business trip. Just to Ogden for 3 days. I thought I handled the kids well all by myself. Wednesday and Thursday were spent is Salt Lake City playing with Trina. We slept out in a tent. It was the first time I "camped" with my kids. It was a late night but i thought it went over well. Except when Trina's boy Allen threw up. Thursday evening we BBQd and it was so great to see all my village friends come out and play. Trina and Corey hooked up their slack line. It's a great challenge to walk on it. Even funner to watch people attempt.

Saturday we went to cousin Jasmine's wedding. I am so happy that she found her soul mate. Their wedding ceremony was one of the sweetest weddings ever. It's always fun going back to the SLC temple, bringing back memories of that great day 5 1/2 years ago. It was cute seeing the grooms as they sat on a bench waiting for their brides. I remember when I came down the hall to see Stephen sitting on that bench. The day was finished with the ring ceremony at a farm in Lindon. I want that farm. :)
Sunday was real peaceful. Just spending time as a family. That evening we went to Uncle Grants house in Maplton. Most of the Madsen family was still in town. It was real fun as everyone was is a great mood, no drama, and my kids were entertained for me. Grant and Delia Madsen have done a wonderful joy raining their 9 kids. I hope mine will turn out as successful and talented.
Oh yeah, the one divorce was a friend from SLC. It is sad to see her go through such pain but it does make you look at your own marriage and work harder to communicate, love and appreciate your spouse.

Week in Review

I have been such a slacker when it comes to this blogging thing. I guess I just need to do it more and I will figure it out.
5 Things I did this week that were awesome:

1. Visited the Village and all the cool peeps.
2. Hung out with some awesome women while doing Humanitarian projects.
3. Learned a new hooping trick with Trina.
4. Hiked to Stewart Falls with the boys.
5. Bought 2 new dresses and my first pair of heels. (I am tall so I always felt I couldn't wear heels.)

Easter

I love Easter. I love Christ and I am grateful for the Atonement. That is probably what is behind why I love Easter. I get happy and full of excitement. I love remembering what it was like being a kid on Easter Sunday. Dan would send us down to the basement while "the Easter Bunny" came. Dan was great at hiding eggs and he would never just tell us where they were. He would hide them in the flower tops of the tulips. We always found eggs from the previous year.
Scott is 2 this year and understands a little more this year. We went to G and G Olsen's house this year and due to the weather we hid the eggs in the basement. Danny, Emily and Kim "hid" the eggs out in the open. I chose to take what my Dad taught me and hid those eggs. I even taped them to the light fixtures. It was so fun seeing Scott and his cousins run around picking up someone else's eggs or sitting down mid hunt to eat their finds.
The day was finished off by a turkey dinner with 30 guests. It is what I want to happen every year.

I am a Blogger!

I am caving to the peer pressure and starting a blog! I love looking at everyone blogs and I like posting pictures on Facebook so why not start my own. I don't know what I am doing yet but maybe with some help from some ProBloggers I will be up and running in no time.
